Just a damn good band of All American music ranging from Rockabilly, to Dirt Country, to Rock and Roll and Dirty Blues. Bob Esposito is the man behind the microphone and rhythm guitar. A motorcycle mad man with mean Telecaster and smooth tongue with the ladies. Bob is a connoisseur of music, with a taste for all things guitar. His love of country classics and Bruce Springsteen-style rock have left their mark on his style of guitar playing.
A dedicated vinyl man, Lee Wessinger is a drummer's drummer. With a taste for fine wine, fine ladies and vintage snare drums, Lee holds down the backline of the band. Lee hasn't got time for the city, he's a mountain man, ready to hike any trail bound only to nature's rhythm. If he's not busy laying down the groove, he's in the kitchen cooking up some gourmet food.
James Heaton, the short fuse of the bunch, is a wild card with a hair trigger. James has an addiction for guitars and collects them with a fever. He likes his guitars like he likes his ladies, with lots of curves and a heavy bottom. Not scared to use effects pedals, James pulls out his tones from the past, relying on David Gilmour and Jimi Hendrix to be his guide. James brings his love of comic books and dirty blues to the stage.
This isn't your momma's cover band and the last thing the Contra Blues Band cares about is playing a Journey song. Hell, you've probably never heard half their covers, and that's the way they want it.
