Born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, Tate is what we consider an “old school” type of artist. Raised primarily on classic soul and gospel music, the influences of the greats can be heard throughout his performances and recordings. Active in the music industry since 2005, Tate has had the opportunity to perform for and with some of todays and yesterdays brightest artist. Charlie Wilson, Ronald Isley and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly are just a few of the artist Tate has had the pleasure of gracing the stage with.
